Riverbanks Zoo and Garden is home to more than 2,000
magnificent and fascinating animals and one of the nation's most beautiful and
inspiring botanical gardens.
Riverbanks first opened its gates to the local community on
April 25, 1974. Now more than 40 years later, the Zoo and Garden welcomes more
than 1 million guests annually and has earned a national reputation as one of
America’s best zoos.
